UFLP Becomes Certified Third-Party Collection Agency

Katy, Texas – 6/25/2020 – Universal Fidelity LP today announced that it has earned the highly-regarded designation of Certified Receivables Business (CRB) after fulfilling the comprehensive national standards for third-party collection agencies contained in RMAI’s Certification Program. These standards have been recognized for exceeding state and federal laws and regulations through a series of stringent requirements that stress responsible consumer protection through increased transparency and operational controls. certified

The CRB designation is granted to third-party collection agencies who comply with rigorous standards addressing such items as account documentation, bonding, consumer complaint, dispute resolution, the statute of limitation compliance, trust accounts, vendor management, credit bureau reporting, and other relevant operational procedures. Individual Certified Receivables Compliance Professional designations are required for each certified business’s chief compliance officer.

UFLP Visits Texas Children’s Hospital

Universal Fidelity LP (UFLP) began making an Easter visit to Texas Children’s Hospital in the Houston Medical Center more than 20 years ago. Texas Children’s Hospital is a world-renown facility, children come from all around the world to receive treatment; Texas Children’s hospital has recently been ranked 4th by U.S. News’ report for Best Children’s Hospital for 2016-2017. In the spirit of giving back to the community, two UFLP team members coordinate with the facility to visit with children that are either hospitalized or going through treatment during Easter week. During the visit, the UFLP duo visits multiple floors enabling them to distribute hundreds of cuddly stuffed bunny rabbits to patients. Although the interaction with each patient is limited, it is greatly appreciated by the staff, patient’s families, and patients.

UFLP Helps Organization Provide Meals to Local Children

The ACA member company’s staff and their families decorated lunch bags for Lunches of Love, an organization delivering meals during extended school breaks in the Houston community.

The staff at Houston-based ACA member company Universal Fidelity LP is committed to volunteering in their local community, most recently for the organization Lunches of Love.

The organization started in 2009 with a mission to feed more than 150 children during the holidays when they were on break from school. Lunches of Love became a nonprofit organization in 2012 and now regularly provides lunches to more than 4,000 children, according to its website.
